Ghost (ghst.io) operates a multi-tenant B2B marketplace platform connecting business buyers and suppliers under a single organization-scoped system, listings, supplier discovery, ordering, billing, and per-tenant configuration with strict tenant isolation.
The platform is built to onboard enterprise customers quickly, with role-based access, audit-friendly APIs, and asynchronous backend services that coordinate marketplace flows across tenants. Several services share the marketplace core, listings, search, orders, supplier sync, and expose versioned REST APIs to the web app and integration clients.
What I did
- Built backend services and features for multi-tenant marketplace flows like listings, orders, and supplier sync.
- Implemented tenant-scoped queries and worked with tenant-isolated PostgreSQL schemas.
- Worked on containerized backend infrastructure on AWS and supported deployment workflows.
- Implemented queue-based handoffs between services to improve scalability and resilience.
- Built REST API endpoints with validation and consistent error responses.
